Piano club purpose it to provide an environment for students that enjoy piano or keyboard to come together to listen, learn, and further develop our playing and knowledge of the instruments. Law and Ethics
The purpose of the Law & Ethics Club is to help students understand how law, justice, and ethics shape the world around them. Through discussions, real-world cases, debates, mock trials, and ethical dilemmas, the club encourages students to think critically, consider different perspectives, and develop their own informed opinions. The club aims to make law accessible and engaging for students while creating a space where members can ask difficult questions, respectfully challenge ideas, and explore how legal and ethical principles apply to issues in society. Ultimately, Law & Ethics seeks to empower students to become informed, thoughtful, and responsible members of their communities.

Ping Pong Club
A sports based club where we play Ping Pong every week to have fun! Equipments are provided and updated regularly. You can play every week and participate tournaments to win prizes, or just drop by for a quick round - No commitment required. The only rules is to have fun. (I wound advise to avoid breaking stuff since the repairing cost usually comes out of our food and equipment funds - It won't make you popular)

Crochet Club
We crochet blankets (made from sewn together granny squares or individually), hats, bags, and stuffed animals to donate to charity (Project Linus and Kits to Heart.) You can earn SSL by contributing during meetings and/or bringing in projects to donate from home. Knitters are also welcome, you just have to bring your own needles! Otherwise, all materials are provided for free. :)

Geography Club
Is your geography knowledge top-notch? Or do you still think that London is a country? Either way, come to room 117 every other Friday and we'll play a variety of geography related games/quizzes to dispel stereotypes about Americans. We give presentations/trivia on Geographic topics, followed by a fun Kahoot or a Geoguessr quiz (We have a membership)! We also collaborate with other clubs on occasion, so we may present with the Cheese or Math club! We can't wait to see you there!

Youth Culinary Association
For the past 2 years, the Culinary Club has provided a space for students from all cultures to come together and share their love for food! Whether you have never cooked in your life or are a master chef, Culinary Club has room for you. We spend our meetings teaching new students important cooking skills, interacting with one another, and making tasty fresh food. The skills learned from this club will help students throughout all of life, and we hope to expose people to new palettes and dishes that they otherwise may ever think to try, all while having a fun time.

Wj LPF works with The Level the Playing Field organization works to make sports available to kids that can't afford it. Battle Bot Club
Battlebot Club is a hands-on engineering and robotics club where students design, build, and compete with 1-pound combat robots. Members learn the fundamentals of mechanical design, electronics, and strategy while constructing their own bots from scratch, then put them to the test in competitions. Whether you’re a complete beginner or already familiar with combat robotics, the club offers a supportive space to experiment, iterate, problem-solve, and experience the thrill of seeing your creation battle it out in the arena.

Walter Johnson Math Team
Math Team has weekly presentations on various math topics outside of the school curriculum. We compete in inter-school competitions a couple Wednesdays after school in the winter and various other higher up math competitions(Ex. Johns Hopkins). The Pre-Med Club is a community for students interested in medicine, healthcare, and the sciences. WJ 3D Printing Club
At WJ 3D Printing Club, Students will have the opportunity to learn, design, and create real 3D objects. Our club is open to everyone at WJ, No experience required. If you have an idea you want to bring to life, we'll help you make it happen. You don't need to be a member, all you need is an idea you want brought to life. Every other Wednesday in Room 211, you can meet with a club member or team, share your ideas, and commission a custom design. At the following meeting, you'll receive your finished piece. Along the way, club members will work individually or in teams to design these requests, in the process, learning how to work together as a team, answer to client demands, and operate 3D CAD software. Whether you're brand new or already experienced, all you need is creativity, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
